Well, other than enabling or disabling this option, there are no other options where you can configure the sending of .ics files? Is your default appointment status set to "approved"?
Regarding the other question, i would kindly ask you to open a new ticket. In that way, issues and questions that are related to different subjects will be in separate tickets so other customers or our support agents can find them easily. Our policy is to have one issue or question per ticket because of the reasons that are described already.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.

All working properly, according to this. If the default status is set to pending, and this option is disabled, it wont be sent. But, you can change the default status for each service separately, so it you want to have .ics for particular services, you can enable it for them.

When I select "send ics file for approved bookings" and disable "send ics file for pending bookings". The approved email doesn´t contain the ICS file.
Is there something I do wrong or missed in the configuration?

I am using Nextcloud and it would be nice to have a WEBCAL/DAV integration.
Might this be a future feature?

I see, but it also work if you manually approve the appointment. This is the email with the pending appointment status, no .ics
If i approve the appointment manually in the appointment section, this is the approved notification
