There is an appointment from 12 to 12:45pm on Feb 28th - in the backend it is not possible to book at 1pm (it is only possible to book at 12:45pm) but in the front end it is - why would this be?

Thank you for reaching out to us.
Please check several things
1. In general settings it is best to set default time slot step to 5 minutes
2. In role settings check if the allow admin to book at any time is turned on (most likely it is) then you need to turn off option called Booking Time Slots will depend on the service duration
Once you set this then you should be able to book this time slot.
