I am setting up a process to let the customer chose a location for the service and ended in some questions. Among the existing tickets I could not find a matching answer.
I set up 4 different locations (A, B, C, D - they in fact don't have real address as they are virtual)
I did assign these 4 locations to my employee to all her working times
I consulted our developers, Amelia is currently designed to work like this, but we suggested that certain changes be made because we will soon implement the new 2.0 customer and employee panels. We can't make any promises, but we'll see what we can do.
Currently, it is not possible to choose a location when booking appointments in a package on the panel, only employees and admin can do that. Customers cannot change the location/that is, they cannot edit the appointment in the customer panel, admin and employee can do that. The customer can only cancel or reschedule an appointment, but if they need to choose a location in advance, they must choose a location on the booking page for now and book all appointments in advance, otherwise, the other appointments from the panel will be booked at the default location that is set for the employee.
Hopefully this will be possible in the future but we can not make any promises but we will do our best.
Should you have any further inquiries, we kindly request that you open separate tickets for each question and we will gladly help you there.
We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.
thanks for your response. I noticed that with the recent update the location is now shown in the appointment details in the customer panel :-)
And the upcoming customer panel 2.0 is also good news! Thanks for this outlook.
I checked again the option to change the location of an appointment in the admin backend. The option is there, but it does not work. It seems that the appoinment is blocking itself for beeing rearranged with the changed location. The initial timeslot needs to be rechosen but is not available anymore. I recorded a screencast that hopefully shows the dilemma.
There is a location in customer panel with the latest version this has not been changed
And also please check the employee work hours and see if this employee is working on those locations in that time period. When you select and change the location Amelia will show all available time slots for that location.
Also, you need to check if you perhaps have some other booking already in that time period. Then you can not book new appointment but you need to edit the already booked appointment and then you need to add a customer to that appointment.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
First we have booked and appointment on one location
Then we change the location on the back end without any issues
You can see 2 different locations and we do not see any issues
The we went and log in to customer panel and we could see the location just as we ca see it on our end. You can see the locations in your customer panel in this screenshot
So we went on your site and your customer panel and we can not replicate any issue and as far as we can see everything is working and there are no issues.
Should you have any further inquiries, we kindly request that you open separate tickets for each question and we will gladly help you there.
We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.
But: You can only change the location when you also change the time. Please note in your screenshots: The initial appointment you made was set at 2.45 pm. The new one after changing the location at 13.30. It it not possible to keept the initial time (2.45 pm) - and this is the issue.
This depends on your employee's availability. If they do not work on that locations at that time and if they have booking already then those time slots are not available. And also if they have something in their calendar already.
You can see that in the screenshots and in the video that we are sending you

Hi Marko,
