As soon as one customer books the time slot the other users wont see that time slot as unavailable. It is highly unlikely that several customers will try to book at the same time the same appointment in a matter of seconds.
Yes, we have this implemented in Amelia the latest update includes the fix, but it is not automatically enabled once you update the plugin.
Since this is a public ticket, I will show you how to do it:
1. Update the plugin to v7.4.1
2. Access Amelia Settings/Payments, and expand the WooCommerce section. Scroll down to the last rule. Right-click just below it and click on "Inspect":
In the console, you will see the following. Click on the last div:
On the right-hand side panel, you will see this:
Uncheck that option, like so:
And a new slider will appear below the last rule in WooCommerce settings (in Amelia):
Enable it and save these settings. Please note that once you enable the slider, it will automatically hide again, but don't worry about it.
Once you set this this should not happen event if there is a large number of users that are trying to book at the same time.
This should help.
Should you have any further inquiries, we kindly request that you open separate tickets for each question and we will gladly help you there.
We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.

My client is concerned about how the plugin behaves when two people attempt to book the same appointment slot simultaneously.
I have configured the reservations to be automatically marked as approved as soon as the WooCommerce order is set to "Completed" status.
Thus, I presume one of the two individuals would receive a message during the booking process to inform them that the slot has already been reserved.
However, I am unclear on how this is actually handled and at what point in the process this notification occurs.
Thank you!
Victor

Hello Marko, and thank you for your prompt response!
The issue is that my client has a community of more than 300K followers, and there can be spikes in appointment requests.
So, if you could confirm that the Amelia plugin code cannot block two time slots simultaneously, that would be great!
If the plugin does allow booking two slots at the same time, could a fix be planned for the future?
Thank you again for your help!
Victor
