Hey there, Awesome Customers!

Just a heads up: We'll be taking a breather to celebrate International Workers' Day (May 1st and 2nd - Wednesday and Thursday) and Orthodox Easter from Good Friday (May 3rd) through Easter Monday (May 6th). So, from May 1st to May 6th, our team will be off enjoying some well-deserved downtime.

During this time, our customer support will be running on a smaller crew, but don't worry! We'll still be around to help with any urgent matters, though it might take us a bit longer than usual to get back to you.

We'll be back in action at full throttle on May 7th (Tuesday), ready to tackle your questions and requests with gusto!

In the meantime, you can explore our documentation for Amelia and wpDataTables. You'll find loads of helpful resources, including articles and handy video tutorials on YouTube (Amelia's YouTube Channel and wpDataTables' YouTube Channel). These gems might just have the answers you're looking for while we're kicking back.

Thanks a bunch for your understanding and support!

Catch you on the flip side!

Warm regards,

TMS

How to deal with clients with no email address

    Hi,

My clients offers medical assessments and often has children with no email address as "clients".

Usually the parents enter their own email address instead, but sometimes the parents are patients themselves and already have an Amelia customer account linked to their email address.

    This creates the following issue:

The child customer account has no email attached to it (I guess because Amelia detects that the names aren't the same for the same email address).

The problem is that it becomes impossible to send reminder emails for the child appointment right ?

Is there a workaround for that?

I thought of using sms reminder instead, but this can't be set for specific clients.

Thanks for your thoughts about it.

    Hello there,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

You can have several users with the same mail and those appointments will show on the backend but all appointments will be tied to a first user that booked the first appointment with that mail. So for example when they enter the customer panel they will see appointments that they have under their first name second customer can not have profile with their name with same address. So they would need to create a mail address for the second user.

We wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful day ahead.

    Kind Regards,
