Hi, I want to set up my calendar with only 2 booking times. Slots need to be either 8am-12pm or 12pm-5pm
I have it set up correctly on the front end, but when I access to edit the booking on the back end the time dropdown has random times, even though my engineer is working 8-5.
How can I configure my appointments or employees to ensure only these time slots are available?
The dropdown is when you press the edit button on the appointment.
I managed to sort this issue by disabling the admin option to book at any time of day, what I do need to do though is allow the employee to have more than one appointment at a specific time slot
Hello Michael,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
First of all, to make only 2 booking times available, you need to make sure that the employee is able to "cover" the service duration two times. For example, if the service 1 duration is 1h and the employee have the working hours set from 09 - 17, the timeslots will appear like 09 - 10, 10 - 11, 11 - 12 and etc.
If your case, one timeslot has 4 h duration, the other one has 5, so it's not possible to configure it like this, except if you create another service and assign another employee.
To allow multiple timeslot booking, you need to configure the maximum capacity of service to 2 or above and enable the option "Allow booking below minimum capacity" in the Appointments section.
I hope it helps.
Kind Regards,
Stefan Petrov

Hi, thanks for the reply.
So this is my calendar, I want to allow 'johnny mcelligott' to be able to have multiple jobs between 8-1
Attached files: Screenshot 2024-02-19 at 09.42.13.png
Hello Michael,
If the employee 'johnny mcelligott' has working hours configured between 08 and 01 and the service that has been assigned to him has a service duration of 4 hours, he will able to cover the duration only once. So, only one timeslot will appear (08 - 12)
If the service has a maximum capacity set to 2 or above the option "Allow booking below minimum capacity" enabled, customers will be able to book the same timeslot until the maximum capacity is reached.
Kind Regards,
Stefan Petrov

Thanks for the reply. I understand that a service can allow more than one capacity, but can multiple bookings be assigned to the engineer at the same time? Is there a solution for this, thanks.
Hello Michael,
Only if those multiple bookings are for the same service and the same timeslot. If service 1 has a maximum capacity set to 2 or above, and employee 1 is assigned to the same service, then the customers will be able to book the same timeslot multiple times (multiple bookings) until the maximum capacity is reached.
Kind Regards,
