Hey there, Awesome Customers!

Just a heads up: We'll be taking a breather to celebrate International Workers' Day (May 1st and 2nd - Wednesday and Thursday) and Orthodox Easter from Good Friday (May 3rd) through Easter Monday (May 6th). So, from May 1st to May 6th, our team will be off enjoying some well-deserved downtime.

During this time, our customer support will be running on a smaller crew, but don't worry! We'll still be around to help with any urgent matters, though it might take us a bit longer than usual to get back to you.

We'll be back in action at full throttle on May 7th (Tuesday), ready to tackle your questions and requests with gusto!

In the meantime, you can explore our documentation for Amelia and wpDataTables. You'll find loads of helpful resources, including articles and handy video tutorials on YouTube (Amelia's YouTube Channel and wpDataTables' YouTube Channel). These gems might just have the answers you're looking for while we're kicking back.

Thanks a bunch for your understanding and support!

Catch you on the flip side!

Warm regards,

TMS

wpData Tables can't be copied anymore

I'm playing around to see whether your plugin can be helpful to us, and encountered two problems:

    Problem One:

to create multiple tables like attached screenshot 1. They have a certain font, table structure, and table colors.

I noticed that there is a copy function (screenshot 2 attached), and that would have been helpful, so that we can duplicate the first table and only change the number values manually. However, that button does not work. Clicking on it no response, so no way to copy the table.

I also tried copying and pasting a whole table by marking it blue first with the mouse and pasting it into a new blank table (result screenshot 3 attached). As you can see, the problem is that only the number values are being copied, but the table colors and setup are lost in this process.

Could you let me know if there is a way to do what I would need, i.e. make one table, and then find a way to copy it multiple times? Either copying it completely (with values and colors and fonts) would work, or setting up a template would be another option, but right now it is very tedious to have to redo the color and font setup for each table over and over again, it takes 10x as long.

    Problem Two:

We noticed when setting up a new table, you give the table a name (which is necessary so we know which table corresponds to which product). However, that is for internal purposes only, as in we don't need the table name to be displayed on the website for our customers to see. However, after playing with this for a while we still have not found a way for the table name not to be shown on the website. Is that possible at all?

Looking forward to hearing from you, thank you in advance.

    Hi KuKy,

Firstly, I would like to sincerely apologize for the delayed response as we have been experiencing an unusually high number of tickets. I am sorry that it has taken longer than usual to respond to your concern and your patience is highly appreciated.

    1. I can see what you mean.

When it comes to just copying+pasting values - that will just move the unformatted values, so that won't work for your use-case.

The 'duplicate' button should be working - it is meant for exactly the Use-Case you described, to make a duplicate from your original table, that will save all the styles, options, formatting etc, and you can just edit the values you need.

Of course, you can do any other changes after the table has been duplicated - since it does not have any 'link' with the original Table;  after you duplicate it, you can configure anything you need.

It can be used as a 'template' of a sort, as you said.

If the duplicate button does nothing when you click it - that indicates there is a conflict on your Site - something is preventing our Plugin from opening Modals.

Here are screenshots how it should look when clicked :

As you can see, it is not a bug - duplicating works for us without issues.

Can you please change the theme and see if the issue is resolved?

If not, then please deactivate all other plugins except for our plugin, refresh the page where the issue is, and see if it is resolved (it should be).

If it is, then start activating other plugins one by one, and after each activation refresh the page to see if the issue occurred.

Once it does reoccur, you will have found the plugin causing the issue.

Let me know if you isolate a conflict with these steps?

    2. Yes, you can disable showing the name of the Table like this;

Go to the Display settings, and disable this option "Table title".

Let me know if that worked?

    Thank you.
