Apologies, if i understand correctly, you are trying to translate the name of events, as well as the button? You can also translate the labels in the Customize section, when you select the booking form (in this case Event List 2.0)

You will find the option to select the steps and then find the string that you want to translate.

Thanks for the additional information. The automatic translation on frontend web page depends on the pagelocale, but if you want to translate it to the multi languages (with GTranslate), this plugin will assign the pagelocale for each page automatically. That means that you don't need to translate it in Customize settings since this plugin is translating the string.

If the GTranslate settings are correct, then it should be working properly when you remove the translation from Customize settings.

Well, WPML plugin is mostly used by our customers, but GTranslate is also working fine.
