Hey there, Awesome Customers!

Just a heads up: We'll be taking a breather to celebrate International Workers' Day (May 1st and 2nd - Wednesday and Thursday) and Orthodox Easter from Good Friday (May 3rd) through Easter Monday (May 6th). So, from May 1st to May 6th, our team will be off enjoying some well-deserved downtime.

During this time, our customer support will be running on a smaller crew, but don't worry! We'll still be around to help with any urgent matters, though it might take us a bit longer than usual to get back to you.

We'll be back in action at full throttle on May 7th (Tuesday), ready to tackle your questions and requests with gusto!

In the meantime, you can explore our documentation for Amelia and wpDataTables. You'll find loads of helpful resources, including articles and handy video tutorials on YouTube (Amelia's YouTube Channel and wpDataTables' YouTube Channel). These gems might just have the answers you're looking for while we're kicking back.

Thanks a bunch for your understanding and support!

Catch you on the flip side!

Warm regards,

TMS

Hi, on my site users can book sessions for 1 hour, 5 hours or 10 hours.

It is humanly impossible to carry out a session of 10 consecutive hours, so I wonder, is it possible to divide the booking into several days?

If a user books for 10h, he must be able to divide his sessions into different days based on 1 hour each.

    Can you help me?

I see that it is possible to manage this aspect through the packages, but I also see that it is the admin who establishes the price of the package.

Is it possible to have the employee set the price? Also because it is he who establishes the price for the single session, the package should be inserted by him.

    Hello there,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

Yes the only way to achieve this is via packages but the price of the package must be set by admin there is no option where employee can set the price of the package Im afraid.

ok, I need another way to set discounted price for 1/5/10 hours, but the user must be able to book at different times. I can't make reservations for 5 or 10 consecutive hours.

    Hello again,

The only way you can achieve this is via packages. In Amelia you create a service and set a duration for that appointment. If you want to offer for example 10 x 1 hours appointment the only way you can do that is via packages. There is no other Im afraid at this time. You can read more about our packages on this link https://wpamelia.com/packages.

Hi Marko, so if I use the function to enter 1 base hour, 5 hours and 10 hours, the hours will always be consecutive. even if I enter 24 hours, the user will have to book a session for 24 consecutive hours.

if I use packages, the administrator decides the price. even if the employee enters his hourly rate, it is the administrator who enters the discounted price.

How is this possible? if an employee enters his hourly rate, how can the administrator choose the price of the package? it is a completely different price, it could be completely discordant with the price entered by the employee.

is there no other way? for example, the employee enters his hourly rate and the administrator chooses the discount percentage for the packages, so that the price of the packages is calculated dynamically based on the employee's price?

    Hello again,

Yes, they will be consecutive if you are not using packages and no the price is fixed for a package it can not vary per employee at this time.

Hi Marko, it's the same as the previous answer.

I keep saying that it's a feature that should be in Amelia, it's very strange that it wasn't already foreseen.

It is unacceptable that a user can have a 24 hour session or that only the administrator can decide the prices of the packages if the employees establish the hourly price...
This is data that MUST be calculated dynamically!

    Hello again,

We appreciate your interest in enhancing Amelia's functionality, and we understand the importance of the feature you're seeking. Currently, however, implementing custom projects is not within our scope. We kindly request you to submit your proposal through the following link: https://features.wpamelia.com/. Your proposal will be considered alongside others, and if it gains popularity, there's a likelihood of its implementation over time. If your proposal does not have a large number of votes, there is a high possibility that it will not be implemented. When we create essential features, we use several use case study groups, and so far we haven't had many such requests, if we have had them at all.

The prioritization of feature development is greatly influenced by the number of customer requests received. By participating and expressing your support, you contribute significantly to the potential expedited implementation of this feature.

Should you have any further inquiries, we kindly request that you open separate tickets for each question and we will gladly help you there.
