Hello, I have been encountering numerous issues with Amelia since this morning. I am trying to create a new client from the back end, and I am no longer receiving any notifications for appointments. I test the email, and it works fine. I do not know what is happening.
And my second question is, how do I create a payment link if I create a new client for a new appointment?
We do not see your notifications settings so we can only guess. But make sure that you are using SMTP not PHP mail. We do not recommend that because email that is sent with PHP Mail generally gets flagged as spam by mail servers and also can take some time to send. See below how to configure SMTP and Mailgun mail services.
If you are using WP mail then this is a third party plugin and you need to reach out to their support team.
But if you are using SMTP an issue with email notifications could be caused by several reasons:
Your hosting provider is blocking all 3rd party settings and only allowing their SMTP (or other) settings.
Your website has a PHP version of less than 7.
The credentials are not correct.
There's something else blocking the notifications from being sent.

My SMTP setup via GMAIL is okay. I do a mail test in the notification tab and it works very well.

Process:
Creation of the new client on the back-end from the appointment tab:
Client registration
Then the appointment page opens to create a client appointment:
New client appointment booking
I check if the checkbox for client notifications is checked
Then I click save
And there, my appointments are indeed on Google Calendar. But my client does not receive a notification. This is really annoying
I'm tired of repeating the same thing 50 times.
If nothing is possible, I will have to find an urgent solution for the sites. I can't afford to leave such bugs for the clients on my end.
The error may appear not the first time but on the 2nd appointment booking in the back end.
As for the payment links, I don't know if you have a documentation video that can explain this. There is a step that I don't quite understand.
