Hey there, Awesome Customers!

Just a heads up: We'll be taking a breather to celebrate International Workers' Day (May 1st and 2nd - Wednesday and Thursday) and Orthodox Easter from Good Friday (May 3rd) through Easter Monday (May 6th). So, from May 1st to May 6th, our team will be off enjoying some well-deserved downtime.

During this time, our customer support will be running on a smaller crew, but don't worry! We'll still be around to help with any urgent matters, though it might take us a bit longer than usual to get back to you.

We'll be back in action at full throttle on May 7th (Tuesday), ready to tackle your questions and requests with gusto!

In the meantime, you can explore our documentation for Amelia and wpDataTables. You'll find loads of helpful resources, including articles and handy video tutorials on YouTube (Amelia's YouTube Channel and wpDataTables' YouTube Channel). These gems might just have the answers you're looking for while we're kicking back.

Thanks a bunch for your understanding and support!

Catch you on the flip side!

Warm regards,

TMS

    Hi,

I am confused. How is the customer flow? Do I need to always use the booking form of Amelia when booking for a event? I need more information of the customer. Dutch names have names like mine Marco van Wynbergen. My customer wants every bit of the name in a separate field. I am creating another user experience thru Toolset plugins. This plugin enables me to create new user fields. But when a customer fills in Amelia's booking form they have to fill in their name and mail and phone. I need more information there.

    1. Do I need to always use the booking form of Amelia when booking for a event? Or can I create my own booking flow?
    2. Or can I add user fields in Amelia's user flow that will be added to the user in WP.

    Cheers
    Marco

Also, when I create my own login thru WP will I be able to show the appointments and events of that client thru your shortcodes like[ameliacustomerpanel appointments=1 events=1]?

    Hello Marco,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

    Please, find the answers below

    1. Do I need to always use the booking form of Amelia when booking for an event? Or can I create my own booking flow?

There are two options, either the customer needs to book a place for an event on the front end, or you can do that from the backend manually. These are the only two options. Regarding the option of creating the custom flow, unfortunatelly, we do not have integration with any of those plugins so we are not able to guarantee that will work.

    1. Or can I add user fields in Amelia's user flow that will be added to the user in WP.

By default, the custom fields will be added to the booking form, but the same fields wont be added to the user in WP. Using these fields, you will have the option to request additional information from the customer, and information will be visible in the Appointment or Event section for a particular Appointment or Event.

I hope it helps, but feel free to ask if you have any other questions.

    Kind Regards,

    Stefan Petrov
