    Dear Support Team,

I am reaching out to request urgent assistance with a persistent issue that has been troubling both myself and our clients for over a month. Despite numerous attempts to resolve it on my own, I find myself in need of expert help.

The core of the problem lies in our clients' inability to reset their passwords through the customer panel. Here's a succinct description of the issue as experienced by a client, and subsequently confirmed through my own testing:

    • A client attempted to reschedule an appointment and, in the process, needed to reset their password. They used the "forgot password" feature on the customer panel, received an automated email with a supposed reset link, but the link redirected them back to the login page, failing to provide a way to actually reset the password.

Upon further investigation, I discovered that the automated email intended to facilitate password resetting does not contain the correct link. Instead, it directs clients to the customer panel login page, trapping them in an endless loop where they are prompted to request another password reset, only to receive the same non-functional link.

The content of the automated email is as follows:

    --------

    Dear %customer_first_name%,

This email is to notify you that you you can view, cancel, or reschedule appointments you have made with me by going to your Client Panel at this link. <https://warriorwisdomnvc.com/manage-your-appointments/?changePass=1>You may want to save the page for future reference.

As a reminder, if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment in the future, you must do so at least 24 hrs in advance to avoid paying for your cancelled session.

Feel free to reach out to me with any questions or concerns.

    Warmly,

    Ki Smith

Unfortunately, this link, rather than leading to a password reset page, redirects clients back to the login screen, perpetuating the loop.

Efforts to resolve this issue have included attempting to locate and reset the template for the "customer panel access" notification email to its default, in hopes that the correct password reset link might be restored. However, I have been unable to find a way to do so. Extensive research and consultation of your help resources have not yielded a solution.

Given the above, I kindly request your guidance on the following as soon as possible:

    1. How can I modify the automated email to include a functional password reset link?
    2. Is there a way to revert the email template to its original state, which might contain the correct link?
    3. Any additional insights or instructions you could provide to help me break this frustrating loop and ensure my clients can smoothly reset their passwords?

Your prompt and detailed assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated, as it significantly impacts our client experience and operational efficiency.

Thank you in advance for your support and guidance.

    Warm regards,

    Ki Smith

    Hello Ki,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.

We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.

You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.

    Thanks.

    Kind Regards,

    Hello Ki,

Thanks for the credentials, here is what i've found.

In the Notifications section, for the template "Customer Panel", the link that should be leading to the customer panel didnt have the right placeholder formating.

It has been changed to this one

Now, if you click to reset the password, you receive a link that lead to a window where you can enter your new credentials

Feel free to test it yourself and let me know if it works.
