Hey there, Awesome Customers!

Just a heads up: We'll be taking a breather to celebrate International Workers' Day (May 1st and 2nd - Wednesday and Thursday) and Orthodox Easter from Good Friday (May 3rd) through Easter Monday (May 6th). So, from May 1st to May 6th, our team will be off enjoying some well-deserved downtime.

During this time, our customer support will be running on a smaller crew, but don't worry! We'll still be around to help with any urgent matters, though it might take us a bit longer than usual to get back to you.

We'll be back in action at full throttle on May 7th (Tuesday), ready to tackle your questions and requests with gusto!

In the meantime, you can explore our documentation for Amelia and wpDataTables. You'll find loads of helpful resources, including articles and handy video tutorials on YouTube (Amelia's YouTube Channel and wpDataTables' YouTube Channel). These gems might just have the answers you're looking for while we're kicking back.

Thanks a bunch for your understanding and support!

Catch you on the flip side!

Warm regards,

TMS

i have 1 employee & she can do 6 servicespots of type 1( ex. bicycle)  service and 2 servicesspots  of type 2 service(ex. rowing)  so 8 total customers in one and the same time slot...

it seems now that once 1 appointment is booked of type 1 service , type 2 service disappears from the booking form and that is wrong  !

it needs to be possible to make 8 appointments in the same timeslot.

    how can this be done?

    Hello erwin,

Apologies for the delayed answer. To make this possible, you need to make sure that the service capacity is set to 2 or above and also the option "Allow booking below minimum capacity" needs to be enabled.

If this is disabled, your front-end customers won't be able to submit a booking unless they fill in the minimum service capacity,
but once they book for any capacity above minimum, the time slot will become unavailable for booking for others.
If enabled, multiple customers will be able to book the same time slot, without having to fill in the minimum capacity.

    Kind Regards,

    Stefan Petrov

this not the issue I am facing...

I have 1 employee doing 2 services . (both have maximal number of of slots)

when somebody books 1 slot of service 1 (ex. 7pm-7.30 PM) , someone else cannot book anything in service 2 in this specific timeslot . He can only book a second slot in same service 1

we have a MAJOR issue... creating 2 employees for the 2 services does not fix this as!!

    I have now

employee 1 for service 1 ==> synced to google calendar

employee 2 for service 2 ==> synced to google calendar

physically  this is the same person with 1 google account

so what I did : I created 2 separate calendars inside their google calendar

employee 1 for service 1 ==> synced to google calendar  1

employee 2 for service 2 ==> synced to google calendar 2

but that does not work. same issue

service 1 appointment ==> synced to google calendar  1   = takes in a slot

so it is not possible anymore to book service 2 in that same timeslot ( with the goal to sync this to google calendar  2)

Amelia block this taken timeslot of employee 1 for employee 2 as well !!!

This is very urgent . I have been struggling with this for a whole week ( hours customer will not pay of course)  so we need to find a solution SOON

    Hello erwin,

Apologies for the delayed answer. If one employee is assigned to two services, he won't be available for booking on service 2 for the same timeslot,  if he is already busy working on service 1.

If the service 1 has the maximum capacity set to 2 or above and the option "Allow booking below minimum capacity" is enabled, the the customer would have the option to choose multiple timeslots until the maximum capacity is reached.

Here is how it is configured -

employee assigned to two services -

Service 2 has the maximum capacity set to 6

Two appointments booked on the same date and time for the service 2

Please, feel free to try this and let me know if it works.

==> so you are saying this is not possbile ( I see on the feature request list that many many people are asking this for a very long time!!!)

==> it is not possible but this should solve the issue? or has nothing to do with it? I do not see the link between booking below minimum capacity and timeslots that are taken ....

please read the comment I added this morning : creating 2 services with 2 employees with 2 google calendars inside the same google account also deos not work and that is a disaster... why is an availabe time slot in calendar 2 removed beased on the fact that this timeslote is taken in :calendar 1 ??

    visualisation of problem below

    someone booked vacustep from 19-19.30

you can no longer book slimcab from 19-19.30  (allthough this is other service attached to other employee because google caleldar has blocked this from 1 subcalendar to the other  )

    Hello erwin,

    Thanks for the credentials.

I'm looking at the initial problem that you've described

"I have 1 employee doing 2 services . (both have maximal number of of slots)

when somebody books 1 slot of service 1 (ex. 7pm-7.30 PM) , someone else cannot book anything in service 2 in this specific timeslot. He can only book a second slot in same service 1"

As previously explained, if one employee is working on both services with the one working schedule, he wont be available for booking for other services if he is already busy working on Service 1 on the same timeslot. If you look at this in real time, he is not physically able to be at two locations at the same time. It's the same with Amelia.

The workaround is to create two employees (one for each service) and increase the maximum capacity.

If you look at your configuration, there are two employees, both services have maximum capacity increased, and the option "Allow booking below minimum capacity" is enabled.

If I book an appointment for Service "slimcab" and 09:30 on Feb 14, on the booking form, the same timeslot appears. If you look at the appointments section, you can see that there are multiple appointments booked for the same timeslot

    1266419743.png

The same goes for the other service.

    1856737004.png

According to this, everything is working properly.
