Hey there, Awesome Customers!

Just a heads up: We'll be taking a breather to celebrate International Workers' Day (May 1st and 2nd - Wednesday and Thursday) and Orthodox Easter from Good Friday (May 3rd) through Easter Monday (May 6th). So, from May 1st to May 6th, our team will be off enjoying some well-deserved downtime.

During this time, our customer support will be running on a smaller crew, but don't worry! We'll still be around to help with any urgent matters, though it might take us a bit longer than usual to get back to you.

We'll be back in action at full throttle on May 7th (Tuesday), ready to tackle your questions and requests with gusto!

In the meantime, you can explore our documentation for Amelia and wpDataTables. You'll find loads of helpful resources, including articles and handy video tutorials on YouTube (Amelia's YouTube Channel and wpDataTables' YouTube Channel). These gems might just have the answers you're looking for while we're kicking back.

Thanks a bunch for your understanding and support!

Catch you on the flip side!

Warm regards,

TMS

The Manager role for Amelia Pro is quite weak.  They can't delete appointments, reschedule, and more.  Is it possible to use User Role Editor, and grant them permission to those other things so that they can do this work?

I do not want to grant the manager full admin access to the website where they can control everything (we have a lot of pages and posts) that can't be messed with.

    Hello Jeremy,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

I want to clarify that Amelia Managers don't have the capability to delete any content within the Amelia platform. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at maintaining the integrity of your data and ensuring that only authorized individuals can make significant changes to your booking system.

Currently, there isn't an option available to enable managers to delete content within Amelia. This decision was made to prevent accidental deletions or unauthorized modifications that could potentially disrupt your scheduling and booking operations.

However, while managers may not have deletion privileges, they still possess other important administrative capabilities within Amelia, such as managing appointments, modifying booking settings, and viewing relevant reports and analytics.

If you have specific content that needs to be removed or modified within Amelia, it's recommended to reach out to an administrator or someone with appropriate permissions who can handle such tasks effectively.

We understand the importance of having control over your data and appreciate your understanding of these limitations. Should you have any further questions or require assistance with any other aspect of Amelia, please don't hesitate to reach out. We're here to help ensure that your booking system operates smoothly and meets your business needs effectively.

    Kind Regards,

Do you know if its possible to create a new role inside WordPress using User Role Editor, and call it like Gym Admin, but she'll have administrative privileges, not able to access post, pages, settings, plugins, themes, etc.  Only Amelia Pro?

I tried adding one and giving all permissions, but it doesn't show up in the backend (Amelia) that is.

The answer is Yes, using "User Role Editor" you can give these permissions. I have done this. It works for me.

Hey @Sayed, did you grant additional permission using User Role Editor for the Amelia Manager role?  If so, did you grant them everything?  Or?

    Hello Jeremy and Sayed,

It could be done with the User Role Editor, but please note that this could cause other issues as there will be a conflict between permissions.

Feel free to test it out this way and let me know if you have encountered any issues.

    Looking forward to your reply.
