Hi employees don't see all the categories with all the services, only can see their assigned services, and I need that they see the general catalog because they also can buy services from the other employees too, so for that reason I want them able to see all the services and categories, I put this shortcode [ameliacatalogbooking] and each employee sees different catalogs instead see all the full catalog not just they service asigned.

Here is the link when my categories are:

    Hello Marilyn,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

The current setup where employees can only see their assigned services and not the entire catalog was designed intentionally. Unfortunately, it's not possible to change this functionality at the moment. We understand your need for employees to access the general catalog to purchase services from other colleagues as well. However, due to the system's design constraints, individualized catalogs are provided via the [ameliacatalogbooking] shortcode.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.

    Kind Regards,

Unfortunately, only the old version works well for me, and that was the reason I bought this service because my business works in this way, I don't need that platform to customize for every single employee, I need everybody to include the employees who also can be potential customers of other services, can see ALL THE CATEGORIES, SERVICES AND EMPLOYEES,  looks like I need to look for another plugin unless you have a shortcode that can provide this basic information that I need, and I guess most of the business need because doesn't make sense customize for every employee in the general page, because we already can customize the shortcode for every employee if we need and this ok for their account or profile but not for the general page of services, how about if the employee develop new skills for other services, when they are not able to other services, please give us an additional shortcode option of have the general information about ALL THE CATEGORIES, SERVICES AND EMPLOYEES like the version 1 has, and also is posibble that employee also became in customers or not? or in this case, appear like customer and employee role or what happens?

Also how many Categories, Services, and Employees, support this plugin? Is there a limited of them or is unlimited?

And with events happens the same? I mean each employee is able to see only their own events or they are able to see all the events?

    Hello Marilyn,

Thank you for the update on this.

In the latest iteration of the plugin, it remains feasible for employees to explore and access other services, provided they're not actively logged into WordPress using their employee credentials. However, an important consideration arises when an employee chooses to schedule an appointment through the front-end using their email address; this action automatically registers them as a customer within the Amelia system.

This dual role scenario—where an individual operates both as an employee and a customer—can potentially introduce complexities in managing permissions and access rights, potentially leading to conflicts. It's imperative to meticulously evaluate how these intertwined roles interact to prevent inadvertent access limitations or unintended breaches.

If necessary, adjustments to permissions or roles within your WordPress configuration might be warranted to ensure a seamless operational flow accommodating both employees and customers without friction. Such proactive measures can contribute significantly to the overall efficiency and functionality of your business processes.
