Hi! I have a manual DB with thousands of entries, and in recent days the autofill suggestions when adding entries has disappeared. Is there anything I can do to re-activate it? Thanks!

  • David Amelang Lopez replied

Ps. The "read from table on load" option is activated on all columns

    Hi David,

Firstly, I would like to sincerely apologize for the delayed response as we have been experiencing an unusually high number of tickets. I am sorry that it has taken longer than usual to respond to your concern and your patience is highly appreciated.

I am sorry, but our Plugin itself does not have an autofill Feature - that is a Feature from the Browsers.

If you mean when having a "One Line" or "Multi Line" as Editor Input Type?

For example, if i have this Table, and if i got a name as "Mike" in the cell, but sometimes when i edited it before, i wrote another name in the same cell, my browser remembers it.

So, if you had your Browser memorize some inputs you used before, and then they disappeared, can you recall did you do something like "purge cache and cookies" in your Browser, and deleted the autoFill history from it recently?

    That would explain it.

Let me know if that might be the case.

    Thank you.

    2. But if you mean for a SelectBox, or MultiSelectbox for Editing, that is a feature of our Plugin, so it is going to offer any available values for editing.

So, can you confirm do you mean when using "One Line ( or multi Line)" Editor type for this use-case, or do you mean the dropdown values for SelectBox/MultiSelectbox?

The "read from table on load" option is only important for values available in selectbox, multiselectbox or Checkbox - that is not related to the 'autoFill" for text editing - that is just what your Browser memorized, as explained above.

I hope that helps to clarify everything.
