The motive of this ticket is to ask for support in a topic related to the Amelia plug-in for Wordpress. My team and I are currently working in the design of a booking section for Dream Eco Safari, and to fulfill the task of allowing customers to reserve and pay for their spot in safari tours, we decided to use Amelia.
The topic we wanted to touch is: Is it possible to customize the "# spots available"? We would love to modify this labels and adapt it to a certain number of spots, for example: Let's say we have a tour with 10 spots, and instead of showing "10 spots available", we want to show "Spots available", and when there are less than # spots (let's say 4), show "🔥 Only few spots available".
We would love to know if it's possible or is there an alternative for this option, and in case it isn't, are there any plans on making the plug-in more "personalized"?
It is possible to customize the labels, but not in full according to your request. What i want to say is that you can change the labels for the booking form (whether it is the Step by Step or Event List) but there is no option for "conditional" change. You wont be able to configure Amelia to change the label automatically according to the number of spots.
To customize the labels, you need to go to Customize / select the booking form (Event List) and then choose the step where the label is located.
For the other feature, please feel free to search through our feature suggestion page, to see if someone may have already suggested this feature. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there, and as more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list.
You can certainly follow our changeLog page if you'd like, where we state any changes/new features/bug fixes during updates and our newsletter, so you're informed about new features, bug fixes, freebies, etc.
Thanks for your answer Stefan. I work as a frontend developer with angular so I could do it by myself. Since I don't have knowledge of PHP, could you please tell me at least where is the logic for number of spots located (what files and what lines)? That would be very helpful
Sorry to disappoint you, but unfortunatelly, the customization questions like this one are not covered in the included support for the plugin. Included support covers help with bugs and general inquiries for the plugin features, but not writing custom code or help with code customization.
Sorry for the inconvenience. I hope you understand.
