I am wondering if a column is set as "single-value select box" but I need to add a new value to that column, is there a way to set that column to "allow new values"?
The "Single-value selectbox" is an editor input type, while the column type can be anything (float, string, integer, and so on).
If the editor input type is set to a "Single-value selectbox" or the "Multi-value selectbox" you will not be able to add new values when editing the table in the front-end.
If you're using the "string" column type, however, you can change the "Possible values for column" and select the "Define values list":
Then, as indicated in the screenshot, you will be able to access the column settings and add the values to the list.
