Hello, we have been trying to integrate Amelia metrics with Google Analytics for a few days. We have followed the guide you have in your documentation, and a configuration video for tracking our reservations.
We are trying to track the traffic of a complete reservation without payment, for this we use the Event Parameter: %location_name% and we use the title of our location "7-_Silvia_Fernández_-_Ponferrada" using hyphens to replace spaces, we do it with each of our stores by separate. In another different measure we want to see what types of service they select. And we use Event Parameter: %service_name% "Vestidos_de_Novia". Afterwards we create custom events in Analytics with that data, reviewing the statistics we see that events are fulfilled but they do not match the ones we really receive. In the case of service selection we had the same selection yesterday for both services and that is impossible. Can you help us with the correct configuration for this. We want to measure each of the quotes we receive since we use advertising and we need to know the source, city, etc.
I have created a label for each location. And every time we have a reservation, it records them all the same, as you can see in the events that Google Analytics is capturing for me. That's why I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or what the best way to configure it would be. I want you to independently register the location and type of service. With this last one the same thing happens, we have 2 different ones each.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.
We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.
You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.
Can you also provide the video or screenshots of the Google Analytics, since we don't have access to your Google Account?
I would like to sincerely apologize for the delayed response as we have been experiencing an unusually high number of tickets. I am sorry that it has taken longer than usual to respond to your concern and your patience is highly appreciated.
I've tried to log in to the WP using the credentials provided, but looks like they are not correct.
Can you please double check them and send them again? Also, can you provide a screenshot (preferably the video) of the Analytics setup in Google account?
You set the event parameters in the wrong input. They should be in the 'value' input and will be populated dynamically based on the booking parameters.
In the 'Event Parameter' input, the name of the 'custom definition' that your GA4 will expect should be entered. In the 'Value' input, '%location_name%' should be entered, and it will be populated dynamically depending on the booking data.
Basically, you don't need all these events since they all have the same trigger. So what you could do is group your events by their trigger, and the location (which will be the one selected on the booking form) will be auto-populated, something like this:
So, this event will appear on your GA4 under the name 'Reserva_cita'. You will need to define a custom definition 'location_name' that will be populated with the booking data.
Also, we just checked your front-end, and we strongly advise that you migrate to a new booking form. We have ceased implementing new features on the old booking forms, we only maintain bug fixes.
From what I understand, I create an event and the trigger is location name. But having different locations as analitycs will measure the appointments we receive from each store since I want to measure them individually. On the other hand, how do we make the change to the new form?
The trigger is 'Reservation completed without payment' and the location is dynamically populated. Therefore, you only need one of the events you created because they do the same thing. Once it appears on your GA4 dashboard, you can create a custom report there to check how many came from each location.

Hello David,
You don't need to set up events in your GTM, as Amelia integration works directly with GA4, it behaves like a 'mini GTM'.
