How can users refer an event to their friends. We have live events and our users would like to tell their friends to attend it by sending them a link in an email. How can they do this?
At the moment, there is no such automatic option, but you can configure each event on a separate page by creating a page for each event and add them with the following shortcode:
[ameliaeventslistbooking event=1] if you want to show only the Event with the ID: 1.
That way, each event will have e separate URL and the clients will be able to share the links to refer.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks for the response. Of course, the problem with this approach is that we have an event which is a series, occurring once a week. So for the year we would have to create 50 web pages, one for each event, and then if we change any detail of the event we would have to go edit close to 50 pages. Please consider this as a request for a feature which is critical to making any sales for us.
Please feel free to search through our feature suggestion page, to see if someone may have already suggested this feature. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there, and as more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list.
You can certainly follow our changeLog page if you'd like, where we state any changes/new features/bug fixes during updates and our newsletter, so you're informed about new features, bug fixes, freebies, etc.
