That's correct. When creating an event, you can also add the tags for the particular event/s where you can add the shortcode later to display only the events that have tags. For example, you can use this shortcode 

[ameliaeventslistbooking tag='physics'] if you want to show the booking form for all Events that include the tag ‘physics’.
