    Dear Amelia Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to seek assistance with an issue we are encountering with the Amelia booking plugin in conjunction with WooCommerce for processing payments.

We have noticed an inconsistency where sometimes appointments are successfully registered in Amelia after a payment is processed through WooCommerce, but at other times, the appointments are not registered despite successful payment. This issue is causing significant inconvenience and confusion for our customers and staff.

To provide more context, here is a brief outline of the issue:

    1. We use Amelia to schedule events.
    2. Customers make payments for these events through WooCommerce.
    3. In some cases, after a successful payment, the event is correctly registered as an appointment in Amelia.
    4. However, in other instances, even after the payment goes through successfully, the appointment does not get registered in Amelia.

Could you please assist us in identifying the potential cause of this inconsistency and suggest possible solutions? Any guidance on troubleshooting steps would also be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response and am hopeful for a resolution.

    Hello Masayoshi Kawase,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

Please provide me a temporary WP-admin (administrator) user for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue.

We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.

You can write credentials here just check PRIVATE Reply so nobody can see them except us.

    Thanks.

    Kind Regards,

    Stefan Petrov

    Dear Stefan Petrov,

Thank you very much for your prompt response and your readiness to assist with our issue.

I fully understand the importance of examining the issue from the inside. However, I must express my significant concerns regarding the security risks associated with granting administrative access, particularly in a production environment. The security of our website and the privacy of our users are of utmost importance to us, making it challenging to provide full admin access.

Before we proceed with providing administrative access, could we possibly explore alternative methods of troubleshooting?

We look forward to finding a solution that ensures both effective troubleshooting and the highest level of security.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

    Best regards,

    Masayoshi Kawase

    Hello Masayoshi Kawase,

We completely understand your concern regarding security risk, but this is the most efficient (and fastest) way of troubleshooting. The point here is to reproduce the use case, to get a better picture of what is happening in the backend, and we would need the WP admin credentials for that.

We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course, we do not provide login data to third parties.

    Thank you for understanding.

    Kind Regards,
