We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
I have a site built in Elementor that's been running Amelia for a few weeks. Mostly it's in testing, but a few (real) appointments have been set up. The site is simple and only 6 pages.
I'm rebuilding the site in Oxygen, and would like to keep the Amelia settings, if possible.
I've been told that it's best to delete the Elementor installation entirely, and then rebuild the site in Oxygen, rather than leave fragments of Elementor-created code behind.
I'm not much of a programmer/developer, so would like to know if there's a relatively easy way to keep the Amelia database intact while deleting the Elementor-only content.
Thanks.
Hello Andrew,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Deleting Elementor content will not affect Amelia data, and thus you can feel free to delete ELementor data.
Please let me know if you heave any other questions.
Kind Regards,

Thanks Uroš -
I meant deleting the whole Wordpress installation in which Elementor is installed, since it leaves files in many places.
What's the best current way to export Amelia data/formatting/styles, build a new site, and then import the Amelia data?
cheers
Hello Andrew,
Thank you for the update on this.
You can clone your site with some duplicator or cloning plugin, also there's a way to migrate only Amelia's database tables.
There are around 47 tables with wp_amelia_ prefix that need to be moved. Please note that wp_ is the default database prefix, but on your end, it could be anything, so look for your_prefix_amelia_ tables.
Besides that, you also need to go to wp_options and search for option_name "amelia_settings" - that returns one row, so you need to copy the option_value and paste it in the same field on the other site. Note that this contains all info from your old website, so you will need to replace the URLs in this cell.
Hope this helps.
If you have any more questions please open another ticket and we will gladly help you there.
Kind Regards,
Uros Jovanovic

Thanks again -
Actually, the databases are working, but can't all be located! (ameila_settings for example.I have a ticket open for that as well...
Once we figure that out, I'll test a few things with the databases to make sure I'm doing it correctly.
Hello Andrew,
Thank you for the update on this.
We will respond to the ticket that you created as soon as possible.
