You can assign the custom field of type attachment on the booking form, where if the customer books an appointment, he needs to place the attachment, as well.
This attachment is visible in the appointment section for a particular appointment. Unfortunately, there is no placeholder for the attachment in the notifications template, it will not be rendered in the notifications template.
Please feel free to search through our feature suggestion page, to see if someone may have already suggested this feature. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there, and as more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list.
You can certainly follow our changeLog page if you'd like, where we state any changes/new features/bug fixes during updates and our newsletter, so you're informed about new features, bug fixes, freebies, etc.
Why don't you make your plugin user friendly if you provide such a feature.
If the image file were included in the confirmation message, everything would be 10x easier for the customer (because they usually don't go to the WordPress backend but just check the emails).
And it's the same with the "Custom Notifications" or "Custom Fields" for events: Instead of being able to filter them by "Tags", you set up a function so that you have to select each individual course separately for which a Custom Notification and a Custom Field should apply.
So I really don't want to be rude and respect your efforts in developing such a plugin, but I really can't understand why your plugin is often so complicated and user-unfriendly.
We understand that there are several areas in the plugin that could benefit from improvement, and our developers are actively addressing them one by one. We have plans for a comprehensive back-end redesign, including the overhaul of employee and customer panels, scheduled for this year. Anticipate significant improvements in the upcoming months.
Regarding the attachments, they are stored in your WordPress library, and access to uploaded files is granted by logging into WordPress. The Employee role allows staff to view the uploads, but accessing the library requires an active WordPress session. If there's an alternative location or method you suggest for storing and accessing files without logging in, we'd appreciate hearing your thoughts on the matter. Your input is valuable as we continually strive to enhance our plugin.
Hello Amelia Team,
I would like to provide an attachment for an image file in the booking form.
This also seems to work in principle via custom fields.
My only problem is:
Where can I find the attachment in the notification email after booking or how can I integrate it there?
I can't find an email placeholder there, even though I checked several times. Unfortunately, there is no automatic attachment in the email.
Best regards
Andreas

Ok thank you for your answer, but honestly
