Just a heads up: We'll be taking a breather to celebrate International Workers' Day (May 1st and 2nd - Wednesday and Thursday) and Orthodox Easter from Good Friday (May 3rd) through Easter Monday (May 6th). So, from May 1st to May 6th, our team will be off enjoying some well-deserved downtime.

    Hi,

    When a customer has received a discount code from WooCommerce, applying it in the checkout page, but it doesn't connect with the Amelia service, even if the Amelia service is connected to this bookable simple product.

    How do we go about to solve this?

    I can not find anywhere in the Amelia system that I can enter any codes there, neither that a discount code can be listed anywhere else at the checkout page.

    There seems to be several errors with implementing the coupon codes, When we sorted to let it remove for the product in it self, it also removed the fee for the extra offered for the same service. The product in itself can be discounted, however not the "extras" as they choose to add to the original service-time

    I'm not using smart coupons, and the products is connected to correct product, which has always worked earlier, it is a woocommerce coupon code, the issue is when connected to your system. 

    We have spent hours on watching video's testing, the issue remains, and your link is not replying to what I ask.

    The coupon should take 100% of the service (which can have different amounts as more services has same amount), however, it should not remove the "extra", which is extra to the original service, and this has not to do with woocommerce, as this is an amelia feature

    Thank you for the update on this and for your patience.

    In regards to a coupon also discounts the extra amount, that is how it works as a WooCommerce coupon simply discounts the amount that is passed to WoooCommerce by Amelia.

    As the setting for WooCommerce coupon cannot by influenced by Amelia, I would suggest that you reach out to WooCommerce support and they will be able to assist you with this.

    So can you provide a solution for instead using the coupons in Amelia?

    As we are testing and facing other issues if we attempting to come up with a solution.

    It would be great if you actually took time to provide solutions just no disregard challenges we're facing setting this up.

    It is not helpful that you're "putting the responsibility to woocommerce" and not doing anything to let us know how to work around this with YOUR plugin.... which we have paid for ;)

    I find it very weird that you are not responding with a solution , as I have asked several ways for solutions from you. It seems to be a standard that  either you reply something not connecting to the issue, you give suggestions to what we have said we have tried to do as TS, or your are thanking for information.. Additionally to many days without response...

    Kindly provide a functional solution in this moment


    I'm copying in the reply from WooCoomerce, and ask you to answer how I can TS in the Amelia plugin, AND also my question from earlier that you ignored replying to; So how can YOUR system be set up as they are referring to?


    To troubleshoot this issue, I recommend checking the settings in both WooCommerce and the Amelia booking plugin. Here are some steps you can take:

    1. In WooCommerce, go to WooCommerce > Settings > General and make sure that the "Enable the use of coupons" option is checked.
    2. In the Amelia booking plugin settings, look for any options related to coupon codes or fees. Make sure that the settings are configured correctly to remove only the fee for the original service, not the entire fee.
    3. If the issue persists, I recommend reaching out to the Amelia support team again and providing them with the specific details of the issue you're facing. They should be able to assist you further since they have more knowledge about their plugin's integration with WooCommerce.

    Hello Deva-Laya,

    Thank you for clearing that up.

    The issue is that the solution and workaround that needs to be done requires a larger code change and that requires time as our developers are currently developing new features and working on some critical bugs.

    That is why, I passed this onto them and suggested that this be taken with priority.

    But, I cannot guarantee when this will be implemented as I mentioned the busyness of our developers and priorities at the moment.
