I have searched trought public tickets, watched all videos and read trough documentation and I cannot find any place where and when the customer account is created? Where does he get the password?
A customer is created when they book an appointment or event in Amelia and they can create their customer panel password when they click on the "Customer panel" button after they have booked in Amelia.
In order for this to work, the customer will have to be a new one that is not already-registered and you cannot be logged in as an admin user at that time.
So if he misses that button he cannot create an account ever again? Can you please direct me to some documentation about this? i think I have read everything and watched every video about customer account and there is nothing about this.
No, the customer account will be created anyways, but it's just that they will not have the option to set the password up this way.
If they miss this part, they will have to click on the "Forgot a password" button on the customer panel after which they will get the email with the customer panel password generation link.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Hey there! Just tried without being loged in as admin in incognito mode press the button CUSTOMER PANEL which leads me to login page. Dont it seem to you REALLY confusing from a customer viewpoint? So after registration custromer mistically needs to know that his account has been created and he has to press forgot password?
