we want to install woo commerce for our online products shop but dont want it linked to our Amelia bookings, is this possible or do they automatically link when we install woo commerce?
Are we better off building a seperate website for our online shop?
Once you’ve enabled the “WooCommerce” option, a WooCommerce product will be created automatically, and a new section in your WordPress panel will appear below WooCommerce named ‘Products’. These ‘Products’ provide the necessary connection between WooCommerce and Amelia. It will not however be visible to your customers. The default product name is Appointment, but you can change it by going to the “Product” page, clicking on the product, and changing its name.
These bookings will be visible on the Shop page, but you can go to the Products, select the products, and on the right side, you will see the settings regarding visibility. You can change this to be hidden.
we DO NOT want woo commerce to connect with Amelia at all. We will use woo commerce for parts of our website (like our products shop) which amelia cannot do, so if we download woo commerce, we need it not to connect to Amelia.
Our question is do they automatically link when we install woo commerce so then we have to manually unlink them?
Sorry for the late reply. In Amelia payment settings, the WooCoomerce option is already integrated, as soon as you install the WooCoomerce plugin, it will create a "product" which will serve as a connection between Amelia and WooCoomerce. These products are not visible to customers, it just serve as the connection, but you will have to manually unlink them.

I hope it helps.
