All users with the Amelia employee user roles in the WP user section, will be available in the expanding menu, when creating the new employee. As you already noticed, when creating a new employee, you also have the option to create a new WP user for that employee.
Apologies, at first i thought that you were talking about the employees connecting with the WP user, i see now that you are trying to edit the customer. In the User Role settings, for the Customer, there is an option called "Automatically create Amelia Customer user".
If you enable this option every time a new customer schedules an appointment, he will get an Amelia Customer user role and automatic email with login details. In this way, each customer is connected with the WP user.
Thank you, and then they can see their bookings when being logged into their woocommerse/WP account?
However, my question was not what you replied to...
We have ALREADY transferred the information from woocommerc/WP to amelia.
If you kindly look at the screenshots I sent you, how can I connect these?
Why don't they come up as options?
I'm not not asking about new customers, I'm asking about the customers that already have a WP account that has now been incorporated into the amelia booking system...
As long as there is a WP user with the Amelia customer user role, you will be able to connect this WP user with the expanding list that you have on the screenshots provided.
For example -
These two users have the "Amelia Customer" Role
If you go to Amelia Customer section, and you want to edit the customer (as per your screenshot), then both WP users will be available in the expanding menu
The same goes for the employees, as well. The "WordPress user" selection follows the assigned role to recognize the user and it display them in the expanding menu.
The user in WP is not called WP user and it is not listed as this.
The Woocommerce profile is originally listed as a Customer, and this is the user it has.
Now after installing Amelia, there is a new choice called Amelia Customer, but we can not manually go through and change this on all customers, the purpose is to link from that is originally created WP user, through the Amelia user.. Not to one by one have to change from Customer to Amelia customer. Then there is something incorrect in the guide of how to import the customer library
Please advice hos this can be sorted WITHOUT manually going through several hundreds customers to change this...
ADitionally, I now tested with my test account, which I had placed an order yesterday for a package, to see how it is working with the booking of sessoins included in the package.
The package / order is not visible in the test account
Here is how it should work. After you export the customers from WooCoomerce in a CSV file, you can import the same file in the Amelia Customer section. Once you click to import, you will be asked to select the field that you want to import. It should link the WP users with the amelia customer user role with the imported ones, by email.
Anyway, let me double-check with the developers for precise information. I will get back to you as soon as i have the information.
Thank you for patience and sorry for the long waiting.
When importing customers to Amelia, they can only be linked to WP users if those users have the "Amelia Customer" role and only those users appear in the dropdown. If you want to add this role to users that already have the "Customer" role add this script to a functions.php file:
This script will execute on every user update and user registration, ensuring every user with the role Customer will also have the role Amelia Customer added.
I'm attemting to connect the Amelia user (which has been exported from WP users) to the WP user.
It only give me the option to create a new user, which we don't want to do.
How do we go about to connect the users properly?

Why would I connect a employee to a customer profile?
What I'm needing to do is ensure communication is functioning between Woocommerce customers and amelia users, how will this be seamless?
Thanks
