Hey there, Awesome Customers!

Just a heads up: We'll be taking a breather to celebrate International Workers' Day (May 1st and 2nd - Wednesday and Thursday) and Orthodox Easter from Good Friday (May 3rd) through Easter Monday (May 6th). So, from May 1st to May 6th, our team will be off enjoying some well-deserved downtime.

During this time, our customer support will be running on a smaller crew, but don't worry! We'll still be around to help with any urgent matters, though it might take us a bit longer than usual to get back to you.

We'll be back in action at full throttle on May 7th (Tuesday), ready to tackle your questions and requests with gusto!

In the meantime, you can explore our documentation for Amelia and wpDataTables. You'll find loads of helpful resources, including articles and handy video tutorials on YouTube (Amelia's YouTube Channel and wpDataTables' YouTube Channel). These gems might just have the answers you're looking for while we're kicking back.

Thanks a bunch for your understanding and support!

Catch you on the flip side!

Warm regards,

TMS

Setting working hours

Hi, i want to ask if there is option to set working hours by date, not day in week? I'm currently using free version of Amelia, in which I can set working hours for each day in week, but I want to know if there is option (premium or free version) that I will set working hours by date?

    As example:
I have two different working hours, 07-19 and 12-20. I want to set working hour 07-19 this Monday and Tuesday, for next Monday and Tuesday I want to have 12-20 working hour.
I want to have option where I will insert different working hours and then select date and set some of inserted working hours.

I have the same question. We have 5 workers with random dates and times. I can see that there is special dates, but the problem there is that you cannot select there separate dates only date from to. It is a headshot to make a new rule for each date. I have attached a screenshot how you can do in our existing system which we are planning to change and looking for a solution.

Gregor basically answering your question- yes you can but it is a hassle. I added screenshot from Amelia options also. Is there a way to separate the dates without creating special date rule each time???  Amelia special dates screenshot

    Hello Gregor,

Thanks for reaching out to us. Basically, Mārtiņš provided the answer, that's correct. By default, you can only configure the employee working hours according to the day of the week. This means that this schedule will be repeated each week. The only way to configure it according to your needs is by using the special days option.

This feature allows you to configure one or multiple days when the employee’s schedule is somehow different from the standard one. E.g. one can have different working hours, provide different services, and/or work in a different location for one Thursday only. Whether you need to set shorter or longer working hours for just one day or a period, set a different service for one specific day or a whole week, or assign the employee to a different location for a day – here you can do all of this.
Once you configure it, it will override the employee’s general working hours and his service schedule, but it will not override his days off.

Please feel free to search through our feature suggestion page,  to see if someone may have already suggested this feature. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there, and as more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list.

You can certainly follow our changeLog page if you'd like, where we state any changes/new features/bug fixes during updates and our newsletter, so you're informed about new features, bug fixes, freebies, etc.

    I hope it helps.

    Kind Regards,
