We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hi,
I set up a service package with a duration of 3 months. I always thought this would mean the time span the appointments needs to be done. Maybe I am wrong?
I just booked this package to my testuser - and was able to book appoinments beyond the duration. See attached screenshot.
Thanks for clarifying.

Hello Franziska,
The duration you set is for the package while the appointments within a package are defined by the "Period available for booking" in Amelia's General Settings or individual settings of a service. So, if you sell a package with 10 appointments, and set the duration of the package to be 1 year, your customers will have 1 year to book those 10 appointments.
However, the appointments within a package can be booked as far ahead as you configured the "Period available for booking in advance" in Amelia's General Settings, or individual service setting. For example, if this is set to 30 days, at the time when an appointment is being booked, the customers will be able to choose the dates 30 days from TODAY. Defining the duration of the package doesn't define the availability of appointments.
Kind Regards,
Uros Jovanovic

Hi Uroš,
thanks for the clarification.
So is there some way to book a package with a defined duration for the appointments, i.e. a time span within the appointments of a package needs to be performed. Remaining appointments would lapse when this duration is over.
Example: A customer books a packe of 10 appointments of a service A on January 1st. The customer should have 3 months to use up these 10 appointments. So after purchase s/he can book appointments until march 31st. Appointments form april 1st are not bookable. From April 1st on no more bookings are possible.
Thanks
Franziska
Edit: To reduce the time span in the "booking in advance" setting (to lets say 30 days) + set the duration of the package to 2 months is not an option. I is necessary that the customer can book the 10 appointments in the long term
Hello Franziska,
Thank you for the update on this and for your patience.
There is a plan to implement this in the future, just the way you described it here.
I will have this passed to our management to put a priority on this feature implementation.
In the meantime, please let me know if you have any other questions.
Kind Regards,
Uros Jovanovic
