I have a catalog of motor oils applications for passenger cars. This catalog is an excel file. Catalog consists of 15000 rows. Catalog has five columns: Car brand / Car model / year / engine type / type of motor oil
I need to place this catalog on a WordPress site. I don’t need to show all the catalog for users. First user sees only the field with filters: Car brand / Car model / year / engine type. User has to choose a car brand filter first. For example: Audi. Then the user can choose a car model, which belongs only to this brand. For example: A4. Than user choose year (for example 2007) and engine type (1.8T) After that user push search button and see one catalog row: Audi / A4 / 2007 / 1.8T / Motor oil type. And Motor oil type consists of a hyperlink to the product page on site.
Can I organise this catalog by wpDataTables? And which kind of version I have to buy?
Before purchase, you can test all plugin and Add-on features on our sandbox site.
Also there is a 15-day money-back guarantee period,
so if you purchase the plugin, you can safely fully test it out, and if it doesn't fit your needs you can request and receive a refund in that period. ( same goes for all plugins and add-ons)
3. If it possible to generate and downloads in word document result details via Report builder, I Will also choose Report builder https://wpreportbuilder.com/
Which kind of Custom Bundle I have to buy?
I think to choose basic lifetime license type and plugins wpDataTables, Powerful filters, Master-Detail Tables, Report builder.
I will do my best to answer all these questions on the same ticket.
We will provide the initial comment on each of the points - but if you have additional questions about any of the points;
then it will become too difficult to read/follow everything on the same ticket;
if that happens, please open separate tickets and have each ticket about one individual subject, then we can have better focus.
1. How long will be download table data with power filters if the table consists about 70000-100000 rows?
- If you mean about the loading time for a Table ( how much it takes to load on a Page) which has between 70 thousand and 100 thousand rows :
The loading speed depends on a lot of factors - your hosting plan, server's performance, amount of other data on the page, internet speed, etc.
For example, you can take a look at this table on our documentation, which contains around 2.600.000 rows, and see how it loads.
The more data the table has, the more chance that it will impact the loading time.
Please note that Table is an SQL Query Based Table, it uses our Server-Side Processing feature, which dramatically improves loading speeds by using AJAX to only load one Table page at a time,
compared to non-server-side Tables which always load all rows on the HTML of the Page regardless of Table Pagination.
If you meant something else, when you say 'download', such as exporting Table data via our Table Tools ( download as CSV/Excel);
The download time will depend strictly on the download speed of the User's internet connection.
( The user who clicks to export it via Table Tools on the browser)
2. How long will be table loading if 10-15 users are browsing table results or fill the filters at the same time?
The same answer will be as on the point above, on the subject of the loading time.
We don't have a way to say how exactly is your WordPress Site and Hosting Server going to perform.
That loading speed depends on a lot of factors, but please refer to more details in the answer above.
3. Which kind of table hosting provide faster table download: hosting on wordpress site or hosting via private Google Spreadsheet?
If you mean, for the Table load Performance - Is it better to have the Table linked from a source file such as Google Spreadsheet/Excel/CSV;
It depends how many rows you will have.
If you will have somewhere around 6000 rows or less - you can use "Table linked from source data" like Google Sheet/CSV/Excel;
and use our Cache Feature - that feature helps for these kinds of linked Tables;
but only up to around 6000 rows -
If your table becomes larger than that; we advise switching to SQL Based Tables, because they use our server-side processing feature.
If you have the data already on some Spreadsheet -
Once the table is created, it is no longer linked to the source file, so changing data in the table will not show up in Excel or Google Spreadsheet, and vice-versa.

Hi Serge,
Yes, you will be able to achieve what you described with our premium wpDataTables, you will just also need the premium add on Powerful Filters.
This add on has the feature to hide the table before filtering and the Cascade filtering option.
Please check more here with our example table.
Let me know if you have any additional questions.
Kind Regards,

Hi Serge,
I will do my best to answer all these questions on the same ticket.
We will provide the initial comment on each of the points - but if you have additional questions about any of the points;
then it will become too difficult to read/follow everything on the same ticket;
if that happens, please open separate tickets and have each ticket about one individual subject, then we can have better focus.

If you mean, for the Table load Performance - Is it better to have the Table linked from a source file such as Google Spreadsheet/Excel/CSV;
It depends how many rows you will have.
If you will have somewhere around 6000 rows or less - you can use "Table linked from source data" like Google Sheet/CSV/Excel;
and use our Cache Feature - that feature helps for these kinds of linked Tables;
but only up to around 6000 rows -
If your table becomes larger than that; we advise switching to SQL Based Tables, because they use our server-side processing feature.
If you have the data already on some Spreadsheet -
1. You can import the file, then the plugin reads the source file and creates a manual table.
Once the table is created, it is no longer linked to the source file, so changing data in the table will not show up in Excel or Google Spreadsheet, and vice-versa.
This table will be editable in our Plugin.
If you need quicker editing, you can either switch to the Excel-like view,
and then select and copy the range of cells you want to paste from the source file, and paste it in the Excel-like view,
or you can Update manual tables from source files (CSV, Excel or Google sheet) with three options :
2. Or if you wish to make a new editable Table from scratch, by manually inserting all data, you can just make a Manual Table like that.
4. Data safety. Is it possible and how to protect to copying all data from table?
User can copy only result of filter choose.
-
1. If you have the Data linked from a Google Sheet, for example - there is no way for a User to somehow reach the source Sheet.
2. If you don't wish to allow users to export the Table via our Table Tools, disable them in the Table options.
3. If you wish to completely prevent a user to copy and paste text from your Table cells on the WP Page;
We do not currently have a way to prevent this from our Plugin;
but you can achieve this in other ways outside of our Plugin - Here is a Guide :
How to Prevent Text Selection and Copy/Paste in WordPress.
-
4. If you don't want the User to see the entire Table on load - but to have them first only see one or more filters;
and only when they finish their filter selection, to reveal the filtered Data;
For this, you can use our Powerful Filter Add-on feature "Hide Table before Filtering".
If you have any additional question on any of these 4 major Subjects;
Please open a separate ticket for each - and we can focus better on them like that.
-
In regards to these questions I should answer in Private - I will send an additional Private reply for them.
Thank you.
Kind Regards,
Miloš Jovanović
