    Firstly, I would like to sincerely apologize for the delayed response as we have been experiencing an unusually high number of tickets. I am sorry that it has taken longer than usual to respond to your concern and your patience is highly appreciated.

    You can translate both of these Strings with a Translation Plugin.

    I recommend using Loco Translate since it is the easiest one.

    You can just search and replace almost any Strings like that.


    Please try and let me know if that works, or if you struggle with translating it.

    Hi Paul,

    You did not succeed with Loco Translate, because we still do not have Korean language files in our default Amelia's languages folder.

    Your current Loco Translations are being pulled from a System Folder, so Amelia is not picking it up.

    I hope you don't mind, i just installed Loco Translate on your site quickly now to test it, and i notice the path of the translation files does not say "author" ( as it should be, with the path to our Plugin's translation folder), but rather the path says "system", and this is why Amelia is not picking up any translations like that.

    So, here is what you need to do now for this to work.  ( The same principle applies to POEDIT or Loco Translate/any translation tool you might use)

    First you need to add the Korean language folder in this path :

    ..\wp-content\plugins\ameliabooking\languages

    Name this folder as 'ko_KR', because this is the WordPress locale name for Korean language.

    Please correct me if i am wrong, due to the language barrier, i was not able to pinpoint if i am looking for the right language.

    On your WordPress General Settings/ for the Site Language it shows as 한국어 , so i did "CTRL + F" on the WordPress Locale list, and found it as Korean, but you can double-check to make sure.

    Now, i will show you the full guide with an example how you need to add your language for Translations in Amelia and thus, when you choose it in Loco Translate, make sure you choose the one that says "Author" with the path to our Plugin Language folder (..\wp-content\plugins\ameliabooking\languages)  and do not use the one that says "System".

    First, just a disclaimer.

    Please note that we do not have translators in our company, so all translated languages Amelia has have been translated by our Users. 

    If you find any inconsistencies with a specific translation, please feel free to correct them using POEdit, or Loco Translate.

    You can see more details explained how translations in Amelia work on this Documentation;

    During Plugin Updates, all the translations will revert to default, so please keep a backup of your translated files somewhere, and you will need to upload them via FTP/ or your Hosting File Manager.


    If your language still does not exist in our Languages Folder, if you translate it completely to 100%, you can send it to us and our developers will add it during an Update, after that you won't need to overwrite them again during Plugin Update process.

    Here are instructions on how to add a new language in Amelia.

    As mentioned above, our Languages folder is  in the path :

    ../wp-content/plugins/ameliabooking/languages.

    Find this path  via your FTP or the Hosting File Manager.

    When your language folder does not already exist as part of our translations yet, check on the WordPress Locale List to ensure that you find the correct locale name.

    For Korean language, it is 'ko_KR'.

    So we will make a new folder in our Languages Folder in Amelia named like that.

    Now, if you wish to ensure to get all the possible strings for translations, we will take the English US files and then you will translate what you need.

    So, please go in the en_US folder, and copy the files from there named 'wpamelia-en_US.mo' and 'wpamelia-en_US.mpo'.

    Paste them in your new ko_KR folder and now rename them to 'wpamelia-ko_KR.mo' and  'wpamelia-ko_KR.po'.

    After this, refresh Loco Translate and it should now recognize/load the correct "author" Path for Amelia Korean language translations.

    Then, make sure to use this "author" file source for the Loco Translate and you can modify any strings as needed.

    ( The file from our Plugins languages folder, not the System folder)

    When you're finished, if you translate 100% of all Strings for Korean, you could send us your translations,

    so our developers can add the "ko_KR" folder with your files to one of the future updates,

    then you won't have to make backups and overwrite it during Updates in Amelia's folder.

    - I hope that helps, let me know how it goes.

    If you are still unable to achieve this, you can send me your FTP Credentials, and we can remotely go in to create the ko_KR folder in our Amelia Languages folder for you, then we will test what happens on your Site?

    If you send us any credentials, please just make sure to send that in a PRIVATE reply, for safety reasons, then only we can see it.
