I want to set up a booking system for a spa, there are only 6 spots available. I want to let people do group packages, which is different from booking an appointment/circuit.
They are separate services, the group booking will take up all the spa space and disable anything else happening during that time period. How do I disable the time slot for any other service if someone books a group package?
I'm afraid that we didn't quite get what you want to achieve exactly? Can you explain to us in a little more detail, and send us a couple of screenshots?
So I am trying to say that if someone makes a private booking at a certain hour, I want everything else, all other services and all other packages to be unable to be booked at that time.
If someone books out the whole place for a private party, I want to make sure no one else can book at that time.
How would I set the system up in that way for a private booking?
Unfortunately, currently, this feature is not built-in in Amelia.
Possibly it can be set with a workaround: if you connect both Employees to the same Google Calendar, then in case there's a booking for let's say whole day with Employee A for whole day service, then the same time slots for all other services will be unavailable for further bookings with Employee B as well. They will have to work in "fixed" pairs.
This is not ideal solution and we are not sure if this will help you achieve what you need since Amelia is not designed exactly for that. BUt this is the best solution that we can offer you at this time and we do hope it helps.
