Thanks for the video. Let me explain how it works. When you create a new employee, you have the option to create a new WP user with the employee user role, by clicking on "Create new" as you already saw.
If you wish to assign the WP user, that user needs to be created first as the WP user. When created, it will be visible in the expanding menu.
For example, i have created two WP users with the employee user role
If i go to the Amelia Employee section, in the expanding menu, i can see them both
Hello Amelia-Team,
In version 7.3, if I add a new "employee" and then try to map a "user" I get "No matching data" also on existing usernames, e.g. my username.
Am I doing something wrong?
Best wishes,
Hendrik
Hello Hendrik,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
Apologies, i'm trying to understand a bit more. Are you referring to the WP user expanding menu or?
When creating a new employee, the first and the last name, email / location fields are mandatory. Can you explain a bit more?
Thanks.
Kind Regards,

Hello Stefan,
Thank you, that helped! So, only a WP-user with the role "Amelia Employee" can be mapped to an Amelia Employee.
Good to know.
Best wishes,
Hendrik
Hello Hendrik,
You are welcome. That's correct. Only WP users with the "amelia employee" user role will be available in the WP users expanding list.
Should you have any other questions, feel free to reach out to us and we will gladly assist.
