    Hi, I work at an aquabike fitness center.

    We offer a membership plan for 100€/month, which includes:

    • 8 aquabike slots available for booking each month (it's a self-service system).
    • 2 slots with a personal trainer available for booking each month.
    • Free access to the pool.

    There are 8 aquabikes in this center, meaning there are 8 machines available for booking in each time slot (30 minutes).

    I noticed that you released a feature called "Resources", but I'm not entirely clear on how it works... It might be useful for this use case. Could you help me set up these offers/packages?

    Second question (linked to ticket #3548881) :

    Is it possible to display all aquabike calendars in the Planning view (see attached) ? I mean, we need to show the aquabike scheduling view at the entrance of the center. With this, members can see if an aquabike slot is available at the moment and use it, even if they haven't booked in advance.

    Hi Gauthier,

    Sorry for the waiting time.

    We don't work on weekends so it adds two days to the waiting time. We appreciate your patience.

    1. When it comes to a 'subscription' auto-renewal payment / a membership solution, we still do not have this in Amelia;

    but there might be a workaround for that you described.

    We currently don't have any way to set up recurring payments in Amelia, such as a Membership/subscription feature.

    We plan to develop a Membership feature as a part of the Developer license (maybe even as part of the Pro license) in the future, but I can't say an exact ETA on it.

    I can suggest a workaround.

    For example, you can set up a Membership plugin, I believe some of them have a recurring payment feature built-in, and some can be combined with WooCommerce to set up users to pay for certain Membership levels.

    Then, you could use the "User role Editor" plugin to create additional user roles, only for certain customers. With the Membership plugin, you could limit access to certain pages for certain user roles.

    For example, a custom role "VIP" ( a user who paid for a subscription) would have access to page 1 where you can place a shortcode for a free service/package offered for them.

    Then, another custom role "Level 1" would have access to page2 where [ameliacatalog package=2] is placed, which would have different prices, and so on...

    -

    Here are more details about our Package feature.

    So, in regards to the access to a Page for each Member Role - depending what kind of membership level they buy, you would need to handle that with a Membership Plugin, see if it is possible to limit their access only for 1 month;

    and if they stop paying to somehow block access to the Booking Page.

    That must be handled outside of Amelia and our Support is not able to cover it.

    -

    2. When it comes to limiting 'how far ahead'  a Customer can book any Service from a Package of Services:

    The duration you set is for the package while the appointments within a package are defined by the "Period available for booking" in Amelia's General Settings or individual settings of a service.

     So, if you sell a package with 10 appointments, and set the duration of the package to be 1 year, your customers will have 1 year to book those 10 appointments.

    However, the appointments within a package can be booked as far ahead as you configured the "Period available for booking in advance" in Amelia's General Settings, or individual service setting.

    For example, if this is set to 30 days, at the time when an appointment is being booked, the customers will be able to choose the dates 30 days from TODAY.

     Defining the duration of the package doesn't define the availability of appointments.

    3. In regards to using the "Resource booking" in order to limit the maximum of available aquabikes, you can achieve this.

    You need to create a Resource and connect it with the Services and/or Employees as needed and that will limit how many Time Slots will be available at the same time across your chosen assets.

    You will be able to use Services, and/or Employees and you will also have the option for 'group appointments' if you need Amelia to count one bike per each person if a Customer brings more people with them, etc.

    Please check more details how the Resource Bookings work here;

    Let us know if you have any further questions about that.

    3. In regards to the second question, display all aquabike calendars in the Planning view;

    Our colleague has already covered that subject on the other ticket #3548881 - that is basically not possible at the moment, but thank you for adding the future development suggestion, we will do our best to add a solution as soon as possible for it.
