in case someone two people register with the same mobile number the system blocks it. Instead can we have this mobile number because a lot of old people who come to our events may not have email but mobile for sure
sorry in case two people register with the same email address system says the email is already registered. So instead of email can we have mobile number to be unique as we have a lot of old people coming for our events and many do not have email or they use their sons/daughter email.
Apologies for the late reply (please note that we dont work on weekends)
Customers can register the booking with the same email as long as it's not the same time slot. Also, there is an option called "Check customer's name for existing email when booking". If this is enabled, Amelia will check if there is already an "existing customer" and it will not allow that user to use different first and last name when booking. Also, regarding the mobile phone, this is already set to be unique, by default. That means that the customers can put their phone numbers in format where Amelia reads the extension.
That's correct. If this option is enabled, the customer with the same email will not be able to book with a different first and last name, as per the tooltip
By default, this option is disabled, and the customer can use the same email to book other timeslots, but not the same timeslot multiple times.
If I am bringing more guest I should register their name and mobile number i do not see this feature
Unfortunatelly, this is currently not available, but we are working on implementing this feature for future updates. As customers choose the number of people they are bringing, they are only entering their information, but you could add additional custom fields to get the additional information.
See my customers are events not appointments, so in that case one email can register more people
It's the same procedure, as for the appointments. As soon as you set the maximum allowed spots to 2 or above, you will see the option "allow bringing more people".
Is it possible that instead of verifying duplicate email addresses it can be duplicate mobile numbers, please confirm
Hello Natesh,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
Apologies, i'm trying to understand this correctly. You are looking for the mobile number verification option in the booking form?
Thanks. Looking forward to your reply.
Kind Regards,
Stefan Petrov
