We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hello, have a great day at work
I bought your lifetime package. I have an idea that will be divided into 2 packages on our service. A paid plan allows our customers to create multiple employees, and a free plan only lets our customers create one employee. Therefore, I installed the "User Role Editor" plugin to correct permissions for free plan customers. So my question is:
1. What is the purpose of authorizing "Amelia write resources" "Amelia write status" "Amelia write status appointments" "Amelia write status events" "Amelia write time appointments" on your plugin?
2. Is there any way to limit admin to create 1 employee for the store?
Thank
Hello NGUYEN,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
The "read" and "write" permissions are related to the ability of the users with the given user roles, to "read" (ability to see the appointments/events) or "write" (ability to edit the settings/appointments / events)
While this can be edited with the User Role Editor, we dont recommend changing any permissions since it may create a conflict with the Role. There is already a predefined set of permissions for user role (admin, manager, employee) and you want to keep this by default.
Since the user role of the administrator is the user that has all the permissions to edit all the settings in the backend, there are no options to set the limit to an administrator.
You can find more information regarding the user roles in Amelia on this link - link
I hope it helps.
Kind Regards,
Stefan Petrov
