Hey! I'm considering upgrading my license to pro. But as I understood, if I just upgrade I won't get the reduced price as if with the Cyber Monday offer.
So i would have to cancel my current subscription and make a new one?
My questions are:
1. Do I get a refund of the rest of my current subscription, if I cancel now?
2. Would I have to setup everything from scratch or do I just change the license key in the backend and can use all my settings from my current subscription?
Since the offer seems to run out soon I would highly appreciate and am hoping for an answer as soon as possible, so I can take the necessary steps :)
1. Yes, that is correct the sales and promotions do not apply to renewals and upgrades. As for a refund this is not possible each time it all depends on the time that has passed. We can check this with our billing team if you wish to see if a refund is possible now
2. No, you can just swar the licenses you won't lose any data. Just in case we will send you instructions
Once you purchase you can download Amelia from your profile in our store.
Go to Amelia Settings/Activation, and make sure that the "Delete Amelia content" slider is disabled.
Then, go to your Plugins section and deactivate the plugin. If you're using WordPress 5.8+, you'll be able to go to the Plugins section/Add New, and upload the file you previously downloaded.
When you upload the file, WordPress will inform you that you're replacing the plugin with the new version, so just confirm that. After the plugin is installed, activate it, and make sure to purge all cache from your website.
