We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

    Hi,

Is there a way to batch edit cell column prefixs?  I have 47 columns, and they all need to have $.  It will be very time consuming to always manually edit each column prefix.

I can't find documentation that explains a work around.

    Thanks.

    Hello Thomas.

Thank you for reaching out to us.

I'm sorry to disappoint you, but unfortunately, something like this is not yet possible. The fastest way would be to access the database table "wp_wpdatatables_columns" and filter this table per the table ID. Please note that "wp_" is the default database prefix, but on your end, it could be anything, so look for "your_prefix_wpdatatables_columns".

For example, if I'm editing the wp_wpdatatable_1:

    3457620634.png

Scroll to the right, and you'll see this column:

    9856636317.png

That's the prefix so it'd be a lot faster to apply the prefix through the database than opening column settings for each column.

You can also run this query:

    UPDATE wp_wpdatatables_columns
    SET    text_before = '$';

After that, you'd only need to remove this value from the wdt_ID column as that's the ID column of manual tables, and any other columns where you don't want this prefix.

    I hope that helps.

    Kind Regards,
