Hey there, Awesome Customers!
Just a heads up: We'll be taking a breather to celebrate International Workers' Day (May 1st and 2nd - Wednesday and Thursday) and Orthodox Easter from Good Friday (May 3rd) through Easter Monday (May 6th). So, from May 1st to May 6th, our team will be off enjoying some well-deserved downtime.
During this time, our customer support will be running on a smaller crew, but don't worry! We'll still be around to help with any urgent matters, though it might take us a bit longer than usual to get back to you.
We'll be back in action at full throttle on May 7th (Tuesday), ready to tackle your questions and requests with gusto!
In the meantime, you can explore our documentation for Amelia and wpDataTables. You'll find loads of helpful resources, including articles and handy video tutorials on YouTube (Amelia's YouTube Channel and wpDataTables' YouTube Channel). These gems might just have the answers you're looking for while we're kicking back.
Thanks a bunch for your understanding and support!
Catch you on the flip side!
Warm regards,
TMS
Hi,
All my clients are finding it extremely difficult to update payment amounts in the Finance area, because the date range searches based on booking date rather than appointment date. Naturally when someone comes to pay the remainder amount on site after doing an online deposit, they will always do it on the actual day of the appointment. Most of the time the customer can’t remember which day they did the online booking, so it becomes very difficult to find the associated record to amend. Please can this be changed so the date range corresponds to the appointment date rather than booking date, as it presently doesn’t make sense the way you have developed it.
I know you can open up the appointment from the appointments area and choose the payment tab. However, whenever you make a change that way it triggers an appointment amendment email to the customer unnecessarily.
Regards,
Jon
Hello PixelKit,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
When you select the time frame in the Finance section, for example, Dec 1 to Dec 31, the period selected should remain selected, even if you refresh or change the tabs. Currently, users can select an extended period, for example, a whole month or December, so it's easier for them to find the transaction. They can also use other filters like customer or employee name etc.
We are going to work on the improvement of this section, but, currently, this is how it can be used.
I hope it helps.
Kind Regards,
Stefan Petrov

Hi Stefan,
I know I can use a date range, but the fact it is by booking date makes no sense. It only makes sense by appointment date.
When you say you are going to work on improving this, do you mean by changing the date range to show based on appointment date instead?
Regards,
Jon
Hello PixelKit,
For the time being, this is how it is designed, but I meant forwarding this to the management/developers as a suggestion, you can also do the same on our suggestion page on this link. As more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list.
Just to mention, you can certainly follow our changeLog page if you'd like, where we state any changes/new features/bug fixes during updates and our newsletter, so you're informed about new features, bug fixes, freebies, etc.
Kind Regards,
Stefan Petrov
