Hey there, Awesome Customers!

Just a heads up: We'll be taking a breather to celebrate International Workers' Day (May 1st and 2nd - Wednesday and Thursday) and Orthodox Easter from Good Friday (May 3rd) through Easter Monday (May 6th). So, from May 1st to May 6th, our team will be off enjoying some well-deserved downtime.

During this time, our customer support will be running on a smaller crew, but don't worry! We'll still be around to help with any urgent matters, though it might take us a bit longer than usual to get back to you.

We'll be back in action at full throttle on May 7th (Tuesday), ready to tackle your questions and requests with gusto!

In the meantime, you can explore our documentation for Amelia and wpDataTables. You'll find loads of helpful resources, including articles and handy video tutorials on YouTube (Amelia's YouTube Channel and wpDataTables' YouTube Channel). These gems might just have the answers you're looking for while we're kicking back.

Thanks a bunch for your understanding and support!

Catch you on the flip side!

Warm regards,

TMS

    Bonjour,

    Cordialement

    Frédéric Delacroix

    Hello Frédéric,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

Please note that the official language of our support team is English, thus I would like to apologize in advance if anything is lost in the translation since we use Google Translate to translate your query.

By default, there is no option to offer a discount on Events/ Appointments, but there is a workaround. You can make a new employee and set the lower pricing for that employee along with the Special Days configured for the Christmas period. Whenever a customer clicks on the timeslot during the Christmas period, he will be offered the price of the employee who is working during that period. You can also assign that employee to specific services. It requires a bit of configuration, but it could be useful.

Other than this workaround, the way to offer the discount is by using the Packages feature. Packages in the Amelia Booking plugin are made to give you the option to create a package of multiple appointments from the same or different services and give a discount to the total price to attract your customers more.

Unfortunatelly, there is no way to purchase one or more services without scheduling an appointment. When the customer buys a package, he will get the option to choose the appointments right away, during the purchase, on the booking form, or later through the customer panel.

I hope it helps. Please, let me know if you have any other questions.

    Kind Regards,

    Stefan Petrov
