You can use the Days Off or Special Days feature. The Days Off setting allows you to set one or multiple days off that apply to the whole company.
The special Days feature allows you to configure one or multiple days when the employee’s schedule is somehow different from the standard one. E.g. one can have different working hours, provide different services, and/or work in a different location for one Thursday only. Whether you need to set shorter or longer working hours for just one day or a period, set a different service for one specific day or a whole week, or assign the employee to a different location for a day – here you can do all of this.
I hope it helps. Please, let us know if you have any other questions.
Thanks for the additional information. Please, find the answers below
1. Paid events you have to register for
This is already working by default. You just need to make particular dates for events and the customer would need to register for an event.
2. Unpaid events you don't have to register for (we just need to get the information out)
You can certainly make the event free (by setting the price to zero) but in any case, the customer would need to register for an event for Amelia to store the information
3. Days of observation with no related event, but it should still show up on the calendar.
You could make an event, like the normal one, by you can change the booking opening and closing times to something like far ahead, so the customer would not be able to book any place for this event, but it will be displayed on the front end.
Thanks Stefan - the tip to change the booking opening and closing does help -- thank you!
Question: if I create a tag for events, is it possible to target all events with that tag via CSS? I don't see a tag or class in the DOM.. but maybe I'm missing something.
I'm asking so that I could show/hide elements of the event based on whether it was part of that tag or not.
For example, if the Days of Observation had that tag, I could hide the price on both the event listing and the card so I could have the price *show* for in-person events that need it.
You are welcome. Regarding the tag, you can use a different shortcode
[ameliaeventslistbooking tag='physics'] if you want to show the booking form for all Events that include the tag ‘physics’.
On the front end, only events with the particular tag will appear, but this means that the other events will not be displayed. I guess you can add tags to particular events in the backend and then edit the CSS code, but using the normal Event List form.
Hi there -
Is it possible to add holidays to the calendar?

Thanks, Stefan.
I should have been more clear. These would be holidays that I want to show on the public calendar on the front-end. Days of observation, for example.
We will have three types of events:
1. Paid events you have to register for
2. Unpaid events you don't have to register for (we just need to get the information out)
3. Days of observation with no related event, but it should still show up on the calendar.
I'm hoping Amelia can be the solution for these three use cases?
Thank you!
