I am having issues getting the decimal places to show as imported/uploaded to wpdatatables backroom. It removes the applied excel decimal places and defaults to its own, wholly irrelevant display that is another value altogether. How do I get wpadatatables to simply show the data as uploaded/intended?
When we import the data in a new Manual Table - at the moment, there is this 'limitation' so to speak.
By default, it is going to set a 4 decimals as the format;
So during the Table creation, please choose for each Float column, edit this 'Type value' and leave the first number as 16, just edit the second one from the "4" as default decimal number to the decimal number you need :
Then this field will be created in your SQL Database as the set decimal number.
Also important to note, for presenting the default decimal number in the Plugin, you can set your desired number of decimals in the Main Plugin settings, too.
Later you will also be able to override this per Column;
So my Column here will become saved with 2 decimals - but i can go in Column settings/Data tab and change this to render as 4 to override it in the Table.
That way you can have different columns with different decimal points ( if needed).

Hi Michele,

Let me know if that helps.
Thank you.
