I have one service product which can accommodate up to 16 people. This service is scheduled once a day. This scheduled gets booked on average by 2 people at a time.
In order to group all the bookings into the one service entry per day I had to use "Allow booking below minimum capacity". But this is now causing issues with my other products.
I have other products which I only sell per one group, one per day. They are entered into Amelia as minimum 4 guests and maximum 4 so guests don't get to select number of participants, they only select the service and date. But because I have the "Allow booking below minimum capacity" checked, two groups can come in and book the same product.
They get caught by the system as "pending" but that's not ideal because the system allows the purchase to take place (collects money) and then I have to refund it (I lose money this way) and tell customers that the service is unavailable, even though they were allowed to book it. This typically comes off bad with customers.
What are my options to allow one service to accept multiple bookings while at the same time having another service that is limited to one booking per service?
It seems to me that it would be better to have these kind of settings available at service level and not company level. I'm hoping there is another way to deal with this for the time being.
