Hey there, Awesome Customers!
Just a heads up: We'll be taking a breather to celebrate International Workers' Day (May 1st and 2nd - Wednesday and Thursday) and Orthodox Easter from Good Friday (May 3rd) through Easter Monday (May 6th). So, from May 1st to May 6th, our team will be off enjoying some well-deserved downtime.
During this time, our customer support will be running on a smaller crew, but don't worry! We'll still be around to help with any urgent matters, though it might take us a bit longer than usual to get back to you.
We'll be back in action at full throttle on May 7th (Tuesday), ready to tackle your questions and requests with gusto!
In the meantime, you can explore our documentation for Amelia and wpDataTables. You'll find loads of helpful resources, including articles and handy video tutorials on YouTube (Amelia's YouTube Channel and wpDataTables' YouTube Channel). These gems might just have the answers you're looking for while we're kicking back.
Thanks a bunch for your understanding and support!
Catch you on the flip side!
Warm regards,
TMS
Hi,
I understand that it's possible for the price to change dynamically based om the length of said service. I wanted to know if price can dynamically change based on:
What's the best way to achieve this in Amelia's current implementation?
Hello Ronnie,
Thanks for reaching out to us, i hope you are doing great.
I guess the best option is to define the after-hours first, and then assign the employee to work on those after-hours. For example, you have a service with an employee that has work hours 09 - 17, so this is the standard work hours.
Create a new employee, configure work hours according to the after-hours, and change the pricing to something higher. When a customer chooses the "standard" work hours, the pricing of the first employee will appear, when they choose the after hours, the pricing of the second employee with appear (the higher one)
I would say that this "workaround" will work in both scenarios, but for the second one, i would make two services, again with the two employees where the employee one would have the "standard" price, but the second one has the higher price.
I hope it's easy to understand, but please let me know if you have any other questions.
Kind Regards,
Stefan Petrov
