Hey there, Awesome Customers!
Just a heads up: We'll be taking a breather to celebrate International Workers' Day (May 1st and 2nd - Wednesday and Thursday) and Orthodox Easter from Good Friday (May 3rd) through Easter Monday (May 6th). So, from May 1st to May 6th, our team will be off enjoying some well-deserved downtime.
During this time, our customer support will be running on a smaller crew, but don't worry! We'll still be around to help with any urgent matters, though it might take us a bit longer than usual to get back to you.
We'll be back in action at full throttle on May 7th (Tuesday), ready to tackle your questions and requests with gusto!
In the meantime, you can explore our documentation for Amelia and wpDataTables. You'll find loads of helpful resources, including articles and handy video tutorials on YouTube (Amelia's YouTube Channel and wpDataTables' YouTube Channel). These gems might just have the answers you're looking for while we're kicking back.
Thanks a bunch for your understanding and support!
Catch you on the flip side!
Warm regards,
TMS
Hi,
In my server log I'm seeing a lot of entries like the following:
[04-Dec-2023 16:13:03 UTC] PHP Notice: wdtCheckUpdate(): The script tried to execute a method or access a property of an incomplete object. Please ensure that the class definition "stdClass" of the object you are trying to operate on was loaded _before_ unserialize() gets called or provide an autoloader to load the class definition in /home/wellnessstock/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wpdatatables/controllers/wdt_functions.php on line 1647
Hi Norm,
1. In regards to that wdtCheckUpdate() PHP warning, which comes up when checking for Updates,
our developers released a small Update 5.8.2 that resolves it.
You probably have a version older than 5.8.2 installed?
Can you please update wpDataTables and those 'main warnings' should be solved?
I recommend updating to the latest 6.0 version, since we added more fixes by now.
If you activated the purchase code in wpDataTables Settings/Activation, the update should be offered in the Plugins section.
On some WordPress installations, you need to deactivate the plugin first in order to see the update offered, so please try that.
If that doesn't work, try going through Dashboard/Updates.
See if you can update the plugin through there, and if that doesn't work either, you can follow the manual update procedures below.
Updating the plugin to the latest version
Let us know if that helps and if you have any further questions on that.
Kind Regards,
Miloš Jovanović

Thanks Milos,
I've now updated to v6.0. It wasn't offered as an update no matter what I tried, so I had to manually download and install. I'll monitor the server error log to see if I get any more entries for wdtCheckUpdate().
Thanks,
-Norm
Hi Norm,
I am happy to see that you managed to update.
You should not be seeing that error anymore going forward, but let us know if anything comes up.
Thank you.
