As per your screenshot, it states the default payment method from general settings will be used if all payment methods are disabled in the event, so this doesn't solve the issue as a default payment method must be selected in the general settings.
Surely, the system should recognise the event has zero cost and not request a payment method be chosen, that seems like a bug?
We are glad to hear that everything is resolved. As for tickets this platform works in this way and tickets closes on their own after a few days or we can close this for you.
When an event is free, is there a way to hide the payment methods?
Seems strange to have the user select a payment method for a free event.
See attached.

Hello Brendan,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
You can set payment method for each event when you edit that event in settings section like this
Hope this helps.
Kind Regards,

It is a bug - I see your devs have just released a fix, and it's mentioned in the changelog:
Version 7.2 (04.12.2023)https://wpamelia.com/changelog/
Hello Brendan,
We can see that also now, please let us know was the issue resolved when updated the plugin and purge the cache?
Looking forward to your reply.

Hi yes, resolved with the latest update. Please close this ticket. Thanks.
It's a shame we can't close the tickets ourselves, feel like that would remove some of your workload by not needing to check the ticket again.
