I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to inquire about a particular feature within the Amelia booking plugin. We are interested in displaying both services and their associated extras in a single pane view on our booking page. This would streamline the booking process for our users and closely align with the layout we had on our previous website.
Currently, it appears that services and extras are handled separately, requiring multiple steps to book an appointment with extras. Our goal is to simplify this process, making it more efficient for our customers and staff.
Could you please provide us with information on whether this functionality is possible, either through existing shortcodes or potential customization? If it is not currently a feature, would you consider it for a future update?
We appreciate your assistance and look forward to your response.
Thanks for reaching out to us. That's a great idea, but i have to dissapoint you, unfortunately, there is currently no such option with Amelia's built-in features. Services and extras are handled separately since we wanted to give the option for the customer to use them separately, for example, a user may want to configure services without the extras.
Please feel free to search through our feature suggestion page, to see if someone may have already suggested this feature. If you can't see it, feel free to add your suggestion there, and as more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list.
You can certainly follow our changeLog page if you'd like, where we state any changes/new features/bug fixes during updates and our newsletter, so you're informed about new features, bug fixes, freebies, etc.
If you have any other questions, please open a new ticket and we will gladly help you there.
