An issue with email notifications could be caused by several reasons:
Your hosting provider is blocking all 3rd party settings and only allowing their SMTP (or other) settings.
Your website has a PHP version of less than 7.
The credentials are not correct.
There's something else blocking the notifications from being sent.
If you're using Gmail, please check out this article for detailed setup instructions.
Please check these points, and let me know if you were able to resolve the issue.
As for upgrade please send us a short one minute video of the issue so that we can take a closer look? We can see in the system that we have a number of upgrade in the past 24 hours see we do not see any issues with this.

I think the thing that fixed it was more simple.
Amelia - Instellingen (configuration) - Notifications - Mail Service to WP mail instead of PHP mail. Please take this is your standard message that you send everywhere, might be easyer for people
As for the Upgrade "see image" it keeps getting stuck on the upgrade button , it loads en then gets back to being "clickable" and that creates a loop.
We can not know what method for notifications you are using but you have in our documentation explanation how each method need to be set and we do not advise using PHP https://wpamelia.com/notification-settings/
As for upgrade we check in the system and we can see many new upgrades so please try again and if you have the same issue again please send us a short one minute video so that we can forward it to the appropriate sector.
Hello.
We have customers complaining they are not receiving their confirmation email.
Most people do get it , we also check that its not in their spam.
But it really seems like some people are not getting the confirmation email.
Is this a familiar problem and does anyone know the solution ?
Also
I try to upgrade to the Pro version but it wont let me upgrade, it gets stuck on the "Upgrade" button when i try to confirm it.
