I don't seem to be able to set Cron Events, I followed this tutorial:
But nothing works.
I am using Siteground, I filled in the setting sections related to the notifications with the help of their customer support to make sure it was correct (according to them everything there is fine refer to the pic titled "Notification Settings) then I followed through with the tutorial installing WP Crontrol and proceeding to complete it. I copied and pasted in a new tab the link: "https://giovysbarberia.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=wpamelia_api&call=/notifications/scheduled/send" to send the email immediately but it didn't get sent. But the reminder emails don't get sent. I also waited to the day prior to the appointment, but nothing get sent still.
Then, I uninstalled WP Crontrol and tried to do it manually following the documentation I went in the server and pasted this:
For TSL you need to use 587 and for 465 you need us SSL
We can help with regular notifications but for cron notifications we are just a middleman cron is WordPress product and it is set on the server with your hosting provider so in that regards we can not help. When you change your port to 587 please test your regular notifications and see if they work.
Most likely since you are not using Google or Outlook SMTP there is a chance that you would have to use WP mail.
